CLUB CRONULLA
SWD had the pleasure of working with Club Cronulla on their award-winning redevelopment. Last year, Club Cronulla was awarded the 2008 Master Builders Association NSW Excellence in Construction Award. On Friday night, Club Cronulla was awarded their first ever ClubsNSW award for excellence for the Best Casual Dining Award (small club). The project was a total transformation from an outdated and tired looking venue into a fresh, vibrant, and modern social hub.
THE EPPING CLUB
The prize for Best Club Function Venue was bestowed upon The Epping Club where SWD enjoyed participating in the renovation of the new Terrace Restaurant Bar & Grill. From a new chef's table to dynamic light boxes, the restaurant's make-over resulted in a tasteful and classy restaurant that will certainly stand the test of time.
MURWILLUMBAH SERVICES' MEMORIAL CLUB
The Murwillumbah Services' Memorial Club was a big winner on Friday night. They took home the Outstanding Human Resource Management Award (small club), Outstanding Financial Management (small club), and Best Gaming Venue (small club). SWD was delighted to assist Murwillumbah Services' Memorial Club with the refurbishment of the club from the interiors to the outdoor terrace. The transformation was dramatic and has certainly added to the exciting times the club is experiencing.
MOUNTIES
Congratulations to the Club of the Year for 2009 - Mounties. In addition to the big prize, Mounties also took home the Best Club TAB and Outstanding Human Resource Management Award (large club). Mounties keeps SWD busy with the many projects the club has going. From the Kooloora Ski Lodge to the Triple Eight Bar and the new bistro, SWD enjoys helping the club evolve its functionality and overall look.
